How long have you been a member at Cave CrossFit? 6 months

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness? The work I’ve put into my Crossfit workouts has me feeling stronger today than I did 10 years ago when I was finishing up my professional soccer career. Every day I train, I get to challenge myself and push my limits as an athlete and as a person. I continue to see that I am capable of so much more, which has carried over into my life outside of CrossFit. And this experience is enriched by the support and encouragement of the Cave community.

What is your athletic background? Professional Soccer Player, Triathlete

Favorite WOD: Any workout that requires a little chalk.

Favorite Lift/Movement: Clean

Least Favorite WOD: I don’t know if I have a least favorite, but this one is a contender — Thrusters + Lateral Burpees ladder

Least Favorite Lift/Movement: My T2B are in need of attention.

What are your proudest achievements? C&J 115, 3 unassisted ring dips, Push Press 110

Name one goal and/or personal record you would like to accomplish through CrossFit? C&J 130, continue to get stronger and improve my form and technique

Any advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit or someone who has just started? Take a step forward and give it a try. Your world will open up in ways you never thought possible.
