How long have you been a member at Cave CrossFit? 2 years

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness? I am so much stronger than when I started, which was really important to me. I have much more stamina than I did previously when it came to my workouts, and I am game to try anything. I also started eating paleo because of CrossFit and that has made a huge difference in my energy, workouts, weight etc…

What is your athletic background? Was a swimmer growing up, but as an adult have more or less stuck to the gym thing. Have done yoga, bootcamps, etc…moved around alot when it came to my workout routine was rather fickel.

Favorite WOD: We did a workout recently that was a version of DIANE but with box-jumps. 21-15-9, Deadlifts, Handstand push-ups, box jumps. Also HELEN

Favorite Lift/Movement: Box Jumps

Least Favorite WOD: KELLY

Least Favorite Lift/Movement: Wall Balls & Overhead squats

What are your proudest achievements? Not being intimidated by Olympic Lifting. I might not lift huge numbers but I am doing it. Doing a full handstand push-up. Finally learning how to do double-unders (tho I still do them badly). Climbing the rope, and sticking with Paleo.

Name one goal and/or personal record you would like to accomplish through CrossFit? Pull-ups! I am dying to do them on my own.

Any advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit or someone who has just started? Don’t worry about what everyone else is doing, just focus on yourself and your own goals.
