I currently work in real estate finance but I am actively looking to break into private equity or investment banking.

How long have you been a member at Cave CrossFit?

About 6 months.

How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?

I’ve always been an athlete but not like this. The main change is my size and body composition. I keep growing out of my clothes!

What is your athletic background?

I’ve been a distance runner essentially my entire life. I ran cross country and track in high school and college.

Favorite WOD:

All of the WODs.

Favorite Lift/Movement:

Deadlift and clean and jerk.

Least Favorite WOD:

I like them all, I really do.

Least Favorite Lift/Movement:

I used to really dread snatches and overhead squats, but I’m getting so much better at them that it’s hard to say I don’t like them.

What are your proudest achievements?

Some of my proudest athletic achievements still come from my running career. I’m incredibly proud of the work I did as captain of my high school and college cross country teams.

Name one goal and/or personal record you would like to accomplish through CrossFit?

My younger brother and my father are both experienced CrossFitters so it’s a matter of pride that I become stronger and fitter than both of them, which is an ongoing battle.

Any advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit or someone who has just started?

Keep working hard every day and you will really see results. It’s so much fun.
