How has CrossFit changed your life, lifestyle, level of fitness?

After getting out of the Marines, I did not think I would find that same type of camaraderie-- the kind that results from mental and physical challenges. I had tried to maintain my fitness on my own but really couldn't maintain my progress. When I finally agreed to join a CrossFit gym a little over a year ago, I fell in love with the passion, work ethic, and the community. CrossFit has become a major part of my life. I'm in the best shape of my life and am only getting better. Not to mention, I've made some great friends and became a part of an amazing family that is constantly pushing me to be the best version of myself!

I played soccer and softball in high school and college and ran a whole lot in the Marine Corps.

Any advice for someone thinking about trying CrossFit or someone who has just started?

If you're thinking about it-- stop thinking and just show up. You'll be hooked. The workouts are great, and you'll be surrounded by a community that cannot wait to support you and watch you succeed.
If you're just starting-- just keep showing up. Be patient with yourself, put in the work, and the positive changes will come.
