Cave CrossFit is a community-based training facility which utilizes the CrossFit methodologies to increase your overall fitness and well-being. We measure our success, not by our size or numbers but by the success of our members. Together with our clients, we focus on building a better you through functional training, nutritional education, and a supportive community you won’t find any where else! What to expect at Cave CrossFit?
A:
The unexpected! Expectations usually provide an incomplete picture of what will happen to you; don’t expect, know. Therefore, know you will be in the best shape of your life. Know you will find and break your limitations. Know you will conquer the seemingly impossible. Know you will get stronger, faster, and healthier. Know you will be surrounded by a community that constantly strives for excellence! If you know nothing else, know you will be better!
What’s the difference between Cave CrossFit and bootcamp?
A:
Boot Camps take place outside and usually focus on cardio and isometric weight training which lead to a plateau and become less effective as time goes on. CrossFit classes primarily take place indoors at the Cave CrossFit training facility and focus more on using external weights to build strength & conditioning. We constantly stress form and technique before introducing intensity. Our methods have been proven at the highest levels of competitive athletics to lead to greater gains in endurance, power and fat burning while developing overall strength.
Who benefits from CrossFit?
A:
In short, everyone! Functional strength and agility is applicable in sports and in everyday life. Whether you are a professional athlete or a soccer mom, your fitness needs only differ by degree not kind!
How intense are the classes?
A:
It’s all about progress! Intensity is relative to each individual and every movement in CrossFit can and will be modified to your fitness level. Therefore, you get to decide how intense a given workout will be. Our Coaches will simply be there to give you the proper motivation and make sure your technique is sound!
In order to join our regular CrossFit classes, you must complete our Elements program. During this 3-class program our coaches will teach you the fundamentals and technique of all the foundational movements to ensure your success on day one!
